The Aga Khan Ismailia Charitable Trust
The Aga Khan Ismailia Charitable Trust (AKICT) was established in 1959 with a vision of providing access to housing for the community. AKICT has been working relentlessly to deliver a favourable environment for the community to live prosperously throughout the country.
Our Goal
At AKICT, our goal is to improve the Community’s quality of life by providing access to better living and housing conditions. Integral to this is developing affordable housing infrastructure, which is both technically sound aesthetically pleasing, promoting social harmony and cohesion within the community.
Service History
The Aga Khan Ismailia Charitable Trust is a Non-Profit Organization which has been serving the Community for over six decades to deliver safe, secure, and well-designed environments that foster socially harmonious living. In all, AKICT has build over 2500 housing units for the Community.

A project that named an area, this housing development in Federal B Area was amongst the initial projects of AKICT. It is known for its spacious planning and construction quality.
SULTANABAD
Located in the heart fo the city, this project has provided safe and secure living environment to many community families from all over Pakistan
AL-AMAN
Located in the new area of Gulshan-e-lqbal, this project is located near Aga Khan University Hospital and provides spacious and quality community living environment to the residents along with convenient accessibility to different parts of the city.
GULSHAN-E-NOOR
Located in the then outskirts of Karachi in Gulzar-e-Hijri, Scheme 33 area, this project allowed many community families to own their houses for the first time. It has a capacious layout
and known for its architectural features.
ABDUL HAMEED COLONY
Located near SITE Ind ustrial area, this project was conceived to provide communal living spaces for people working in the families migrating into Karachi
